Paint Nite

Our Next Youth Group Fundraiser is going to be Paint Night!!
​March 3rd at 6:30 pm.
If you have not been to a paint night it is a really fun experience. We will meet at church first, then travel together to Reds Tavern at Nomads in South Windsor. An artist will have everything we need all set up, from the canvas, to the brushes, to the smocks to keep us clean. You can choose to purchase a drink or food from the bar at your own expense if you are a little nervous. However, there is no need to be nervous! The Artist will then show you step by step how to paint that night’s picture. And never fear! You can choose to make it your own or follow the steps exactly. There is no judgment in Art; it is your own creative genius at work. Paint night is a 17 and over event.

Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin Patch is an Annual Tradition for the Trinity Tariffville Youth Group. we have been hosting the patch for almost 15 years. Originally we were located between First Church of Christ and Boy Scout Hall on Hopmeadow Street, in Simsbury CT. Recently we moved the patch to a larger location on the Tariffville Green in Tariffville, CT.  The move gave us the space we needed to establish new events such as Movie Nights at the Patch, Blessing of the Animals, Paint a Pumpkin, and Fall Sing and Play with Miss Carolyn. In 2018 we decided to work with the Youth Program at First Church to bring the Patch back to its original location between First Church and Boy Scout Hall. Because of this Partnership we were able to engage volunteers from both churches as well as the Simsbury Public Library and host even more events! We can't wait to see what new things will be coming to the patch in the coming years. 

Wreath Orders

Every year the Youth Group sells wreaths in order to raise money for the summer mission trip. the wreaths are made by the DownEast Wreathmakers guild in Lubec, Maine. Orders are taken during the last two weeks in October and the first week of November. The wreaths are then delivered to Trinity church the week of Thanksgiving. You may pick up your order before or after any service as well as during specified evening hours.

Calendars

During the month of December the Youth Group members sell Gods Creation Appointment Calendars. the Calendars are $10 each and can be purchased in the Narthex at Trinity church during any service. 

Upcoming Fundraisers

We are always looking for new creative ways to raise money. In the past we have done tag sales,  sweatshirt sales, chocolate sales, plays, dinner theaters and car washes. If you have a new and different idea for a fund raiser please contact Manda Lavallee at Mandalavallee@gmail.com
